Roses > Rambler > Alexandre Girault

Hybrid Wichurana, by Barbier. Purchased from Pickering Nurseries. Planted in Spring of 2004. Very lax canes that lie prostrate on the ground if not trained. Will run rampant and needs a lot of space. Good for arbors, walls, and fences. Disease-free. This is one of the roses that grew very well during a two year period of neglect between 2007-2009. During this time, the roses in the garden received no pruning, fertilizing, weeding, or supplemental watering. This rose showed no cane dieback or other evidence of disease.

Resistant to blackspot
