Roses > Gallica > Charles de Mills

Purchased from Amity Heritage Roses. Planted in Summer of 2004. It can get powdery mildew, but that hardly ever becomes a serious problem for roses here. It's easily treated with a single application of horticultural oil or anti-transpirant. This is one of the roses that grew very well during a two year period of neglect between 2007-2009. During this time, the roses in the garden received no pruning, fertilizing, weeding, or supplemental watering. This rose showed no cane dieback or other evidence of disease.

Resistant to blackspot
