Roses > Hybrid Perpetual > Marchesa Boccella

Portland Damask, by Moreau-Robert. Sometimes sold as 'Jacques Cartier.' Planted in Fall of 2003. Grows well in spite of susceptibility to leaf spotting. This is one of the roses that grew very well during a two year period of neglect between 2007-2009. During this time, the roses in the garden received no pruning, fertilizing, weeding, or supplemental watering. This rose showed no cane dieback or other evidence of disease.

Resistant to blackspot
