Roses > Hybrid Rugosa > Roseraie de l'Hay

Hybrid Rugosa, by Cochet-Cochet. Purchased from Vintage Gardens. Planted in Fall of 2003. A carefree plant that spreads by suckering, so give it space. You can smell the powerful fragrance from quite a distance. This is one of the roses that grew very well during a two year period of neglect between 2007-2009. During this time, the roses in the garden received no pruning, fertilizing, weeding, or supplemental watering. This rose showed no cane dieback or other evidence of disease.

Resistant to blackspot
